this year's countdown is so far the best in my seventeen years!
went over to marina square almost straight after school. it's seriously boring to keep walking round and round the same mall. =.= keep seeing the same few things. but im so glad i got to buy my cinderella exercise book and belle foolscap paper! HAHAHA. it shall be my motivation to do work! yesyes. finally when i reached the stage of being-so-bored-i'm-going-to-be-in-a-bad-mood, jia yi came! HAHAHAHA. i have to say, she saved my life! HAHA. if it wasnt for her. i dont know how im going to wait another horrible five hours or so to midnight.
we went to eat long john (I ORDERED THE WRONG THING. omg. i wanted to order combo 1, then i stupidly ordered combo 2 with garden salad. it's like ONE fish, TWO chicken, fries n all. o.o) then tried to find some random place outside the esplanade to sit down and talk. wah. it was until the fourth or fifth time changing places before we could sit! (the police said we cant sit here, there, everywhere!) okay, so we finally found somewhere to sit and talk. after a while my dad told us to look for them at "somewhere near the merlion, we're in front of palm beach seafood restaurant". (like he expected me to know all the restaurants in singapore.) took us a long time, squeezing and finding!
while waiting for midnight to come, there were random commotions lah! people started cheering as if they saw something and everyone starts standing and cheering when there's actually nothing. HAHA. so hilarious. i got a little irritated waiting for 12am to come. never liked sitting down doing nothing. i get very restless. PLUS MY STUPID RASHES CAME AGAIN. and i thought i grew out of it. i guess it's just because most of the time i'm in some air con room in tp instead of under the sun n all.
then our long-awaited fireworks finally came! it was spectacular! I LOVE THE ONES THAT LOOK LIKE SOME FAIRY GODMOTHER SPRINKLING FAIRY DUST IN THE SKY AND THE GOLDEN FIREWORKS THAT LOOK LIKE TINKERBELLS FLYING! so very pretty! :D HAHA. so long since i last saw fireworks from a good view. what's more, watching it with a good friend. :D
lalala! after squeezing our way out, daddy fetched us home! i kinda pity my dad. i'm so tired but at least i get to sleep on the car. my dad HAD to keep awake to drive. HAHA.
all in all, everything's great! i can see that two thousand and eight's gonna be full of surprises and fun! :D HAHAHAHA. IM LOOKING FORWARD!
