today's rehearsal was bad. i think it was expected that i would be improvising instead of following the score. (which i obviously didnt expect) haha! n the uncreative me has difficulties! the worst thing is i dont even seem to be able to follow well. ahhhh. i can't believe the perf is coming so soon. i feel so bad for the person im accompanying! =/ should count myself lucky that she was patient!
having this really long break is bad for my brain! my brain's processing is really getting slower. i wonder if i can pick up the momentum when school starts. lol.
my student suddenly ran up to me and said 'i love teacher jasmin!' n she's really really cute!!! :D she's the one that always says 'YAY!' to everything i say. e.g. 'okay everybody, we're going to play that song again together!' (trying my v best to sound motivating and exciting. LOL.) and usually they'll still go 'huhhh...' despite my desperate means to try to sound motivating and exciting!!! but she'll be the one saying 'YAY!'

been feeling horribly unwell since yest. but! managed to pull myself through by looking at how energetic and happy the children were. i think either children are influential or im easily influenced. HAHA. probably both. felt bad though. cos i kept wanting the lesson to end n my mind wasnt really there. i've decided to sleep extra early today! :D ignatius said he can come allllll the way to pasir ris n look for me to have lunch tmr. :D yay! my hectic weekend is finally over.

went to my aunty/uncle/cousins/popo house yest. and they cooked A LOT of things for us to eat: 1) popiah 2) black pepper spaghetti 3) curry chicken 4) fish soup 5) herbal chicken
n it's not in small servings. it's in HUGE servings. so we ate that from like 2plus to 6plus. it's like non-stop eating. eating slowly after they cooked each dish. LOL. they don't eat like that everyday lah. it's because we seldom (like once/twice/or lucky thrice a year?) go over. n my mum was learning threading from my grandma. SO FUNNY OKAY. because she tried it WITHOUT a mirror and she was doing it ON HERSELF at the forehead. AND THEN... SHE ACCIDENTALLY PULLED OUT SOME OF HER EYEBROW. now there's a little hole. =x i didnt realise it until she told me. but they kept saying it's v obvious. maybe im unobservant like my dad. HAHA. but not as bad as him, people cut hair like quite obvious also dont seem to realise. lol!

HELLO! let me share with you what i did the WHOLE morning.
this is the first thing i did. for my students' mums. the blue one's for my mum! cos blue's her fav colour. i spent i think 4 hours to do only 20+ of that. draw, cut, laminate, paste on the ice cream stick. i know it's super long lah. but what to do, im always slow at doing things. haha! anw, just in case u think like my mum, why the 'clover' is not green. it is NOT meant to be a clover!!! it's suppose to be a flower made of heart shapes. =x n if u dont know what that is, it's meant to a bookmark. HAHAHAHA. okok. if the whole thing is just plain ugly. pls dont tell me okay!!! just tell me it's super nice. HAHAHA. it's the thought that counts ok!
after that. cos my mum was back. she helped me cut these! :D or else the shapes wouldn't be so nice. HAHA. it's meant for my students to paste on their shirts for their concert. I FINALLY CUT IT. my mother KEPT saying im stupid while we were doing this!!!! -.- she told me 'why u want to spoil ur students' shirts by pasting this one it! why can't u just use safety pins' n then she kept repeating it. im going to get saftety pins tmr lah. =/ so now, they can choose to paste it OR safety pin it. omg, i hope they paste it. cos the glue's expensive!!!!
im now searching for fingerplays on the net. n trying to do them. LOL. i feel so retarded. plus my windows v huge, the people living opposite me might see! this is the one i just did. =x

to be honest. i wasn't exactly looking forward to mothers' day celebration today with my paternal side. cos i only see my relatives on impt occasions. like you know, CNY, fathers' day, or once in a while if someone wont 4D. haha. n my cousins see each other everyday. -.- so yah, everytime there's a family gathering, i'll be wondering if i could 'fit in'. haha. i was only looking forward to eating the japanese steamed egg thing. (i duno what name still! i know the first syllabus is 'cha'. rightright!!) lol. whatever lah. so anyway, i felt so happy after that! HAHAHA. cos i got to talk to people. LOL! i was teaching in the morning lah. but aiya, different! the only annoying thing was i had to explain to again n again y im not in school. and then having to listen to people say what a waste it is. blah blah blah. again and again. lol.
YOU KNOW. next week is saturday and then i don't have to teach. and it's so great because it's mummy's birthday+one day before mothers' day. :D:D:D:D HAHAHA. and i was asking daddy 'secretly' on the way to the toilet if we can bring mummy out for lunch and ask ignatius along. n he said 'y not!'. DO U KNOW SATB IN CHINESE IS ACTUALLY DAMN LAME. it is just gao yin, zhong yin, and di yin. i was shocked when i actually guessed it correctly. o.o i thought it would some chim term like, suo pu ra no or something. lol! you know you know like english directly translate to chinese. for example Mozart = Mo-za-te.
the whole week has been rather mundane. n i feel like most of the time im living in my whole world facing the four walls of my house. ): the boredom almost killed me. i can see the next few weeks being the same. i thought i wouldn't miss school. BUT OMG. im wrong. i totally miss school. er, dont get me wrong. im not referring to lessons. HAHA. i still hate lab. i STILL dont understand what's so interesting about pipetting n all. i want to meet people!!! (being alone causes me to accumulate negativity! i keep telling myself. omg. im so bored. n then i feel even more bored.) okay lah. i know i shouldn't. once i go out. i feel tired after. n then there goes my practice time. HAHA. okay. i've finally complained. feel better now. =x im going to work soon! want to report earlier ah, so i dont feel nervous. my mother asked me last week. HAHAHA. i also dunno! everytime is like a first time! tonight im going to kushinbo to celebrate mothers' day. not exactly v excited leh! cos i dont usually eat much for dinner. anw. u know my mother's crazy. cos she can't just buy ANY shoe. her feet gets bruises from shoes easily. so she saw the slipper that she bought from C&K. got excited. and bought 2 of the SAME design, SAME colour. (even though they don't have her size n she had to get one size bigger) after that, she kept telling me how happy she was on the way home . CRAZY LAH. -.-
