few performances for CCA recruitment today! (:
didnt expect so many people to actually come watch the band! (people i know lah.) Jeryl actually smsed me just to tell me all the songs sounded great. and ah! he even asked me for the titles of the pieces cos he wants to download it today. so cool right! :D
i think i screwed up during latino's performance. =x my rhythms weren't constant and then! OMG. i think im damn stupid. supposed to press "brass" on the keyboard for one part then i accidentally pressed "guitar" and it sounded quite off. -.- raodah (i duno how to spell her name. =x) was really nice to sing through everything to me before the concert. (: quite a pity we couldnt get to play "can't take my eyes off you" which they arranged themselves and i miraculously by heart the chords. considering my bad memory. HAHA.
and of course choir's performance. wah. v stupid. duno why they changed the order of the performance. supposed to be band first. then i thought i can like take my time to prepare myself mentally for it. THEN SUDDENLY it was changed to choir performing first. luckily they actually took out their time to rehearse everything once through with me before the performances start. and i could play winds!!! the part i always screw up. (suddenly reminds me of how wan yi used to tell me when i was a sec 1 that the parts you usually cannot play. concert confirm can play. LOL. one of her many weird logics which i have to say are often true. =x) HAHA. aiya, but the whole performance my hands were practically shaking. i hope people didnt notice lah. or else look like retard. AHH. LASTLY I WANT TO SAY. I LIKE RED, RED ROSE. LOL! so heartwarming. that arrangement's superbly nice! :D:D:D:D
OHOH. went cca "jumping" after all the performances also. went to try er hu (after trying, i realised the uncle who used to play at tamp. really v pro.), cello (LEGS HAVE TO SPREAD SO WIDE. SO PAIN. -.- ), and salvo drums. HAHA. ive always wanted to hit the salvo drums. cos they always look like they're having fun. ended up so hard. then i gave up. =x
went for e-lab after that. ultra boring crap. well, i shall skip that. yah lah. then i came home to SLEEEEEP! :D:D:D
