HELLO!
i was damn lost during class today. i actually didnt know what 'mozart effect' was. =/ and then there were so many millions of other terms i didnt know too. the only thing that made me feel notaslost was the part when they were talking about synaptic gaps when formed between neurons, your neurons will be used. if not, they'll disappear after a few years. means if they disappear, it'll be very difficult/almost impossible for you to pick up that certain skill. i found it familiar cos of the word 'neuron'. HAHA. which for once made me feel happy that i took biomed. =x er, my sentence structure is really bad. i wonder if im making sense. lol. anyway! im blogging cos i wanted to tell you this thing we learnt today that i found reaaaaaaaaaaaaally supercalifragilisticexpialidociously cool!

Hymn to Saint John:
Ut queant laxis
resonare fibris,
Mira gestorum
famuli tuorum,
Solve polluti
labii reatum,
Sancte Ioannes

Definition from wikipedia if u wanna know:
So that your servants may, with loosened voices, resound the wonders of your deeds, clean the guilt from our stained lips, O Saint John

SO COOL LAH. it's where solfege came from. do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do! they found 'ut' and 'si' not very musical to sing so they changed it to 'do' and 'ti' respectively! that's why people say music comes from religion! HAHA. yaaay!
