whee! i really liked turandot yest until i got restless cos i cant sit for long.
i almost went crazy (in a bad way) after teaching today. i actually heard A saying 'f' and 'cb'. OMG. -.- he's only pri 1 lah. the other time when i said 'saxophone' in class. he started uttering nonsense like, 'huh, what? what? sex?' on purpose. -.- plus after that M started to act smart again. AHH. she likes to cover her work so others will not copy hers. when the fact is she copies others. it's so obvious because she's always one question behind the other student and when i test her understand she knows nothing. kuakuakua. =/ im really looking forward to January when i can stop seeing her. but i dont want my other students to leave. ): what a dilemma. lol.
heh. im seeing progress in my 11am class again! :D they always only have small improvements which sometimes makes me wonder if im teaching the wrong way. but once in a while miracles happen and you just feel that your patience pays off. haha! actually it's not my patience but more of the parents/maid's. lol! elioz, who hated to go near the keyboard, actually managed to let me go through TWO songs with him. o.O his maid said she didnt know why either. LOL. and sze yee, who was like elioz, actually plays through around 5 songs a week at HER OWN initiative. LOL. i love their parents/maid. :D
oh yah, teachers' day is damn funny because joshua actually wished me 'happy valentine's day' instead. HAHA. so cute! (: mr wong's friend's granddaughter actually drew a pretty card for me! according to my mum (who has been working at the kindergarten for duno how many years), her drawing is reaaaaaaally good. haha! i wanted to take a photo and show you, but heh heh heh. IM TOO LAZY! LOL.

YAAAY! :D:D:D I FINALLY DID OUT THE SCORE FOR 'MARSHMALLOW WORLD'! :D:D i used the programme ignatius asked me to. got quite irritated last night cos i had no clue how to use it. HAHA. HOWEVER, i had fun after getting the hang of it. woo! :D:D but then my lousy printer couldnt print clearly. lao pok alr. nvr upgrade. i had to colour all the clefs, stave lines, notes, etc. it's damn stupid. -.- like you use printer, but you still had to write out the notes. o.o and ah!! i tried doing the background music on the keyboard for kinda long. when i was done. i didnt know how to save it. HAHA. i was damn happy that i could figure out the chords though. cos i've always sucked at doing things like that. HAHA! :D:D

i dragged myself out of the house to study at mac again today. HAHA. im so glad i did though! :D yay! i love studying with meihui and people! :D from a OC total idiot. now im a OC less of an idiot. HAHA. yay!
im eating pig's liver now so i'll have more iron! :D ignatius nagged at me incessantly this morning to consume more iron rich food after kenneth told him bout it. luckily beans isnt the only iron-rich food. i think im having psychological effects that im not that giddy now. HAHA.
studying with meihui, sj, xj, and yanie was damn fun and productive! haha! i only regret the eating mac part. im quite sick of mac. pukes*
wa lao. my father's damn lame. he just came back and asked where my mum is. i replied 'somewhere'. he then started to sing? chant? 'somewhere... out... there...' which was very off-tune as usual. =x
my granny made nasi lemak and sent it over to our house today! she cooked A LOT okay. my dinner plate was filled with TWO chicken wings, one fish, one egg, two slices of luncheon meat, otah, and LOTS of rice. i ate until i wanted to puke even though i didnt even finish it. it's DINNER leh, supposedly the lightest meal of the day. my dad said she used to sell nasi lemak too. o.O i thought she only sold kuehs. i think she's damn hardworking! she sold kuehs, nasi lemak, helped clean up relatives' houses all by herself to support the family! my grandfather didnt really work i think. i heard he used to just smoke and drink everyday. think he still does, but i guess he doesnt do it in front of me so i dont know. my granny and aunt even had to go around searching for my grandfather in the morning. to find him slping near the drains. but he's not a bad grandfather lah! just can't picture that side of him. the thought of it is still as shocking as when i first heard of it. heh. i wonder what my mum's dad's like. kinda interesting to know what kinda person ur grandparents used to be like.
PLM term test is over. (: it feels reaaaally good to think that there're only three more exam papers to finish. but thinking of the content to study isnt. so i shall not think bout it. =x bit by bit and then i'll be done! yay! meeting meihui and the rest to study at mac tmr. she said she has smth to show me. excited to see it! HAHA.

the olympics craze is EVERYWHERE! (im not part of it though.) my student's mum was so engrossed in watching the olympics at home that she almost forgot to bring her daughter for lesson. ended up being half an hour late. LOL!
my colleague's student very poor thing leh! she had a malignant tumour in her ovaries. =/ had to go for an operation when she's only k1. but she's not affected by it because her parents didnt exactly tell her what happened. all she knows is that she went for an operation to get rid of something that's making her really sick. she even came to class and told her friend proudly, 'i went for an operation!' HAHA. so cute!
i really liked the pedagogy class. even got an ORANGE file for it! :D i wonder what it's like to take childhood education instead of biomedical. hm, im pretty nervous for viva voce and essay writing though. omg, essay writing leh. ): sucks. everyone found that the minimum of 1000 words should be fine. i almost went crazy when i heard that. it has been a reaaaaally loooong time since i wrote an essay. furthermore, my language sucks!
i think im damn retarded. HAHA. i did my minutes till 2am in the morning (because i couldnt sit still to finish it. ending up taking MANY breaks in between). and the next day i realised i didnt attach the file when i sent it. HAHAHA. thankfully i didnt try not sleeping the whole night. or else i probably wouldnt even have the energy to take photos with jasmine yest. after we stopped talking while packing things, i totally lost ALL my energy. came back home, ate dinner, started warming up on the piano, and i couldnt take it anymore. slept at around 7+pm last night. =x so all my great study plans to finish PLM failed. HAHA. but i think it was a good thing i slept so early last night. at least i finished my theory and wasnt late for lesson! three cheers to me!
im meeting jasmine and the rest later to do the notice board. yay!! so exciting! :D not that doing the notice board is fun, but the people im doing with are! kenneth was the one who suggested the idea AGAIN. LOL! i wonder what band will be like without kenneth. =/ i tell you, he's like totally different from ALL the kenneths i know. in a good way lah. omg. think of yau. yau makes you think all the kenneths in the world are hopeless. oops.

wheee! i didnt have to travel to and fro today to bishan! (: kenneth took the mrt with me until cityhall. WAH. luckily he took the mrt with me. i TOTALLY forgot that i had to switch to the red line at cityhall. on the way back, i had jasmine tai and wei ming to talk to on the phone! it was such a surprise that jasmine tai actually msged me today. i thought she smsed the wrong person. haha! we could have talked longer if not for my urgency to use the toilet! Hhaha! and wei ming sacrificed his sleeping hours just to accompany me all the way home! (could hear how tired he was)
oh! i packed my room today!!! i HAD to ah. cos i lost a lot of important things in the BIG mountain of junk. HAHAHAHAHA. it looks SLIGHTLY neater now. threw a lot of things away; making my room look SLIGHTLY more spacious. it's still messy ah. but to me it's very neat so im rather satisfied. :D:D
today's 'mad about piano too!' talk was really enjoyable. the first part about choosing the piano was kinda interesting to know. but i felt it was a little too in depth about things i didnt really understand (like the physics, the technical terms, and the mechanisms going on). the volume of the mic and the size of the font of the powerpoint slides didnt really help either. however, i certainly loved the rest of it! esp, the last part where andrew lim's "storytelling" session about the pianist. (i got a little fidgety though. cos i needed the toilet. haha!) reminded me of music lessons! ahhh. i really miss them. ): how mdm peh would tell us all the stories. i know i can always read up. but i prefer listening to people then read.
met up with the rest of them after that to catch sso. had a quick bite. then sat 5 all the way home! :D i didn't know fareast was so convenient. HAHA!
i'm quite excited about seeing rhys on saturday! :D i kinda miss sitting beside him in class. though he gets quite annoying sometimes with his nonsense. i think i scolded him for punching the class' mirror till it broke last time. HAHA. AND I REMEMBER HOW HE LOVES TO SNATCH MY TEST/EXAM PAPERS TO COMPARE RESULTS. i hate it lah! omg! i miss him! hope saturday comes soon! lol.
talking about life having ups and downs! yesterday was one of my luckiest days of the week. and today was total crap. i did my PLM assignment on microsoft words and the stupid laptop restart by ITSELF and the whole file was gone! GONE GONE!
im quite proud of myself cos i plucked up my courage to call tickets.com and even went down to get the tickets myself! i dont usually like calling hotlines and making enquiries. =/ esp when sometimes it's hard to understand the person's accent. i rewarded myself by taking a nap when i came back home! HAHA. i actually scared my parents when i woke up and went to the living room. because they thought i wasnt home. plus when i wake up, im usually "floating around". so funny. i was too blur and tired to laugh though. lol.
there's no theory lesson tmr! (:(:(: i still don't really like theory lessons even though now i do see the importance of it. so it's definitely a relief that i can take a break for a week! hope we'll be able to finish our comm skills project tmr! :D
today's lessons were damn shuang! had comm skills from 1-3 and we didnt really do anything because it was consultation time. the best thing is lab session was only FIFTY minutes! all we did was to wet the thermometer's bulb then swing and swing. compare the temperature between the wet and dry bulb. looked at the psychrometric chart for humidity readings. and we were done! (: best of all, today's the LAST lab for the whole sem! WOOHOO! WHICH MEANS, THERE'S NO SCHOOL NEXT WEDNESDAY! :D:D:D
spent the whole evening not doing anything much in the band room. but at least the company was good. (:

BUT AH. cannot cannot. need to study for fpath test. i cannot squeeze in marketing stuff and diesease stuff. NO link at all! OKOK. let's pray hard TOGETHER that i won't have to present later. LOL!
ahhh. fpath test will determine whether i'll be happy today. because! if i FEEL that i could answer the questions reasonably well, then i'll be excited to go for nanyang girls' concert! but if i didn't! HAHA! but i gave up halfway. =x was wearing heels okaaay! i didnt do it on purpose. went to work before that and then i didnt want to add on weight to my always so heavy bag. then took a bus all the way back to vivo again. afterwhich, went to little india, then finally back to TM to buy tickets. BUT unfortunately we reached a little after 8pm and sistics was closed. i think i haven't walked that much for a long time.
i want to try the pluck facial hair with strings thing at little india someday! i wonder if it's painful. HAHA. i have no idea what it is called.
