it's been ages since i last blogged. (i think)

cos it hasn't been very exciting anyway. lol.
last saturday was my LAST week of doing relief classes.
phew-
it's super tiring working on both saturday and sunday.
i wonder how am i ever going to survive working all five/six days a week next time.
wahaha!
now that i dont have to teach those little ones on sat anymore, i kinda miss having to teach them. =x but still i'd rather not have to.
cos every saturday there's some war going on in my mind trying to be optimistic about everything.
another thing that this relief classes ending is a reminder that school is starting!

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!
i've been rotting my brain for i dunno how many months and very soon i need to start studying again. n i have to adapt to a completely new environment! AHH! i wonder if i'll meet all the crazy people like sj n gang. ok lah. actually still long before school starts lah huh. havent even 'orientation'. shall not be so excited.

okay, i need to start freaking out about sunday now.

part of me is looking forward to rehearsal tonight and part of me is not! =/

but i sure am exciting about the week to come! hee.
cos there'll be 4d class gathering (which i heard only a handful of people are going. lol!),
there'll be tp band camp (which makes me feel so sad that i wont get to stay over with them!),
im going to do my christmas song on thurs!,
and last but not least, Im going to gramercy to get my twinkle twinkle score!!!! :D:D:D
yay!

i heard school is starting next week! i shall go n disturb sujun n people. HAHA.

10th June

my last day there was the MOST relaxed. (phew)
we woke up n went to have prata again!! :D
the uncle remembered us! cos he gave me my sugar without me asking.

wanted to go swimming at the hotel after that. but the swimming pool is freaking small.
it's alr small right, then there's this random line of floats across the pool which makes it look even harder to swim around. instead we went to the sauna n steam bath. which was a good choice! HAHA. i dunno why the sauna was close to 60 deg C n my mum n i didnt perspire a tit bit at all. -.- n it was the first time i had a steam bath! it was quite cool! probably better than a sauna in the sense that you would not be so dehydrated cos it's not so dry inside? haha. just my guess. not sure.

after all that 'detox'. (actually i was and still am really skeptical about whether all that really worked. HAHAA.) we went to catch another movie! 17 again! :D:D:D AND GUESS WHAT. this time it only cost 5RM per ticket. wa. really, if tickets in singapore are that cheap. i would catch every single movie that's showing. lol. and i was a really happy girl after that. cos i got to watch all the movies i've been wanting to!

my dad had a half day today so we met him to have lunch. and yup! we flew back to singapore. but was quite disappointed with the flight. imagine flying there in SIA. n then u come back in quite a cramped SilkAir. n on the way to Penang, i sat with my mum n there was Videos to watch. on the way back. i sat alone, the food was bad, there was nothing to watch. SO BORED. ):

at least they sent me safely back to singapore! :D

OH. one last thing i want to say. i keep telling people i've talked to! cos im still amused by it. =x
you know, singapore we have Pocky right. over there, they have Rocky. i show you:

I wonder if Rocky is the imitation of Pocky, or is Pocky the imitation of Rocky.

9th June

woke up around 9 plus. had a hard time finding a place to have breakfast! all the shops were closed lah. finally found a prata shop! luckily the prata was really nice and crispy.

right after that, we set off to take 402 again to Penang Hill. (the bus takes really long to come.) anw, they still use bus tickets like those at the last row below. i know it takes you 1.50ringget for you to travel from the bus interchange at Komtar to Penang Hill! :D

we reached at approx. 10.45 and managed to get the tickets for the 1.30pm ride up the hill.
on the way to penang hill, the sign 'bat's cave tua pek gong temple' intrigued us. so while waiting for time to pass, we walked there to find out what it is.

THERE REALLY WAS A BAT'S CAVE INSIDE!!! N THERE REALLY WERE BATS. i thought maybe they just wanted to have a fancy name. ok, so quite interesting. i dont think singapore has one.

after visiting the temple, we still had to wait for a long time for our train!!! which totally sucked lah! cos it was SO HOT AND BORING. n i will tell you why it was seriously NOT worth the wait. -.- the thing below is the train we were waiting for.

the train has abt 4 sections for passengers. there are only limited seats and the rests would have to stand. there's nothing wrong about that. but it was so stuffy and squeezy inside! midway up the hill. we were supposed to switch over to take another train. but there were no announcements or whatsoever to inform you lah. -.- so my mum n i were lost for a moment. if you think singaporeans are kiasu. oh, you're really wrong. the people there immediately rushed over to grab seats ok! and they kept PUSHING n PULLING me. i mean im fine with that, but they dont bother to say 'excuse me' n stuff. omg! i was really pissed. n partly because i didnt even want to go to penang hill in the first place!

when we reached there. the only consoling thing was that it was cooling and there was quite a nice view. other then that, there wasnt anything much to do. unless u want to go n eat, get a henna done, stay in a hotel up there n stuff.

i can't say i regretted going up there. cos if i didnt i wouldnt know what there is. but i will NEVER want to go there again! (at least for now)

after all that irritating squeezing n all (i hate crowds). thank god my mum said she's tired too and we'll go catch a movie. guess what we watched!!!!

WE WATCHED HANNAH MONTANA!!! :D:D n each ticket is 6RM!!!
OMG. LOL. if u havent watched, U SHOULD. OMG. SO NICE. HAHAHA.
i still think she's damn pretty!

n then at the end of the day. same lah. we met my dad n had dinner.

i am back from penang! :D
haha.

went there only with my mum cos my dad was alr there a week ago to work.

8th June
My dad called us at ard 5.45 in the morning!!! &^@#*&@364 n he kept on calling n smsing us to ask if we've reached the airport n stuff. he said he was afraid im too lazy and would refuse to get out of bed. -.- we took a comfy SIA plane there. (:

when we reached there. first thing we did was to take brochures. so i took one alr and told my mum all of them are the same so she doesnt need to take another. but she JUST wanted to take a different one. after we left the departure hall, she realised the one she took had the same details just that it's in malay. -.- we didnt know where to go. (cos penang's actually not that exciting a place to go to) since we looked at the map n there were so many temples at Georgetown, we just asked the taxi driver to fetch us to any one. On the way there, we asked him the way to Penang hill, so he told us 'the place im fetching you to is walking distance to Komtar. nearby you take Rabbit bus to penang hill'. after thinking a while my mum actually made out that he was trying to say 'Rapid' (the company's name). while i was still excited about taking some bus called Rabbit. n she didnt even tell me until we reached the interchange! -.- and anw, the taxi driver's so called WALKING DISTANCE, is DAMN FAR. i think it's futher than walking from my house to whitesands!

when we reached penang hill at about 1 plus. they actually sold out most of the tickets. the next train ride was 5.15pm! so long!!! instead we went to this really huge temple called 'Kek Lok Si' (below).

The interesting thing about this temple is that there is this statue of Guan Yin that's A LOT taller than the building! you have to take an inclined lift up to take photos of her.

was really tired after going there. cos you have to climb a long flight of stairs up to the temple and down too. went to eat durians at some random shop along the street. it's cheap! one durian is only 6RM. havent ate durians in a long time!

after that we went to Prangin Mall to walk around a while before meeting daddy to go have dinner n all! :D

yay! today marks the end of the nerve-racking and exciting (in the negative sense) week! :D
though it's just rehearsals, small perf, my students concert n an exchange.
(compared to my poor ex classmates preparing for term tests =x)
but i felt so stressed n scared!!!
my legs wobbled today. literally.

luckily today ended unexpectedly happily!
cos... I MADE A NEW FRIEND! :D
she's really nice!!!
firstly, WE'RE OF THE SAME AGE. :D
we both thought we played badly today and thought the other party actually was really good. (obviously mine really wasnt lah. -.- better not say the details. or else later i get kicked out of school even before i get in. LOL)
we both didnt know anyone (i did know some people lah. but not close and they had their own clique of people alr!)
we both felt awkward and wanted to talk to each other but were too shy. (HAHA)
we both think our teachers are amazing (duh. who wouldnt. lol)
we both took our gr 8 in sec 3 (but she took once only lah. i had to take twice to pass -.-)
we both played debussy's arabasque for our exam!
and her family is really cool! she has three other siblings. and ALL of them learn music privately. and it's not just one instrument each they learn. but TWO. WAH. can you imagine how expensive their monthly expenses will be. -.- and plus she's damn smart. she took 10 O level subs. suppose to take music also, but the sch is 10 is too many to handle alr.
HAHAHA. she's reallly v nice! :D

im flying off to penang tmr!!! so happy! not cos it's penang. it's just the thought of having an excuse to not have rehearsal. =x and im also super happy that im coming back by wed! to be in singapore on the 11th!!! :D:D:D:D whoopee!
